Calling All Singers! Maestro Enterprises International Announces 2025 Vocal Competition with $6,000 in Cash Prizes

Toronto, ON – February 10, 2025 (Updated March 13, 2025) – Do you have a passion for classical singing and a love for the sounds of the season? Maestro Enterprises International (MEI) invites amateur and emerging classically trained singers to participate in its 2025 Vocal Competition. This exciting opportunity offers cash prizes, performance opportunities, and the chance to shine alongside talented peers.

The competition is open to all voice types, ages 18-32. To be eligible, singers must include at least one selection in their audition repertoire. Winners will have the honor of performing as featured soloists in Maestro Daniel Eby's renowned Christmas Concert, a highlight of Toronto's holiday season.

“This competition is a wonderful way to celebrate the season and provide a platform for emerging vocalists to showcase their talent,” says Maestro Eby. “We're excited to discover the next generation of great singers and offer them a chance to shine on a professional stage.”

Competition Details:

• Eligibility: Open to all voice types, ages 18-32.
• Audition Requirements: Must include at least one selection.
• Prizes:
  • 1st Place: $3,000
  • 2nd Place: $2,000
  • 3rd Place: $1,000
• Audition Format:
  • Initial auditions will be conducted by review of application details and video submissions.
  • Singers invited to the preliminary rounds will audition in person on November 14th and 15th, 2025.
• Concert Performance: The winners of the Vocal Competition will be invited to perform as featured soloists in Maestro Enterprises International's Christmas Concert - December 14, 2025 at PAL Toronto (110 The Esplanade, Toronto, ON M5E 1X9).
• Seasonal Selection: To win, finalists must perform a seasonal selection during the in-person final round.
• Registration: Online registration opens March 15, 2025.
• Registration Fee: $50
